- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using cost management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Position Overview: The Senior Quantity Surveyor plays a critical role in overseeing the cost management and contractual aspects of construction projects. In addition to performing the duties of a Quantity Surveyor, the Senior QS takes on a leadership role, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members and actively contributing to the strategic planning and execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of Quantity Surveyors and providing technical guidance and support.
- Reviewing and approving cost estimates, budgets, and reports prepared by junior staff.
- Conducting complex cost analysis and value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
- Managing high-value contracts and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Developing and implementing cost control procedures and strategies to mitigate risks and maximize project profitability.
